Prom Tickets

We’re excited to share that Senior Prom will be held on Friday, June 13th from 6:00 to 11:00 PM at Greentree Country Club. Students will be transported to the venue by bus, with departure from Somers High School at 4:50 PM.

Tickets are now available for purchase through the link provided, and sales will close on May 23rd. If your student plans to bring a guest who is either from another school or a different grade at SHS, a completed permission slip (attached) must be uploaded as a photo or scan during the ticket purchase process.

Senior Names Project

Starting on June 1st, the names of all seniors will be displayed on the digital sign at the front of the school. Students and their families are welcome to stop by and snap a photo in front of the display!  Please see the schedule which will be listed by last name.

Please note: For those unable to attend on their scheduled date, all senior names will be replayed from June 13 through June 20.

 

 

 

Class of 2025 Senior Trip

Get ready for an unforgettable day at Six Flags Great Adventure! The Class of 2025 Senior Trip is officially here, happening on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, from 7:45 AM to 8:00 PM.

✅ Trip Details:

  • Cost: $120 per student
  • Includes: Round-trip transportation, admission ticket, one meal, one snack, and unlimited drinks.
  • Transportation: All students MUST take the bus to and from SHS—no exceptions.
  • Additional Expenses: Bring extra money for souvenirs, games, or additional snacks.

🚨 IMPORTANT INFO:

  • Tickets must be purchased by Friday, April 25th—NO exceptions!
  • No refunds will be issued for any reason.
  • The trip will take place rain or shine.
  • More details will be shared as the date approaches.

 If you are interested in submitting a picture of yourself and a HS   aged sibling, please upload it to the HJSHARE using code 4993   by 3/1. When uploading, remember to include names!

The deadline for senior ads has been extended until 2/28. Baby pictures, senior quotes, and 20-year vision statements are extended until 2/15.

If students missed the appointments provided by Lifetouch for senior portraits, they can schedule an appointment with JC Penny in Danbury.

Senior Painted Parking Spots Information/Reminders
Painting Dates: August 22nd, August 23rd, 26th and 29th - 9:00 am - 4:30 pm 
 
 

Reminders:

  •   Before you start painting, please confirm your parking spot number with the list posted on Schoology.   
Paint Specifications:    
  • Flat Exterior Latex Acrylic Paint must be used to paint the parking spots.  
  • Note: Paint must be FLAT. Any gloss or sheet (metal) will create a dangerous slip condition.
  • You will provide your own paint and supplies.  
  • Consider sharing colors with others.  
  What you will need to bring with you: 
  • Paint, painting supplies: paint brushes, painter’s tape and/or any other supplies you may need,.
  • A broom (or leaf blower) to clear off your spot before painting. (This will save you lots of time!)  
  • It gets hot, so be sure to bring lots of water and sunscreen!
You must follow your submitted design exactly – no changes allowed. If you do not hear from Ms. McEwan or Ms. Amato, your design has been approved.  

Please note – Anything deemed controversial, or problematic will not be allowed. Prohibited items will be painted over at the discretion of the Administration. Disciplinary action may be taken, and you may forfeit your right to a parking space and/or to park on campus without reimbursement.
