PLD’s – Personal Learning Devices
Tablets for grade 9 students will be distributed at the start of school. Students in grades 10-12 should already have a school issued device. Students whose password is expired or forgot their password can submit a request toSCSD Family Tech Support. This is essential, as students will use this single network log in for all applications.
INFINITE CAMPUS FAMILY PORTAL
Family Portal is the system by which students and parents access class schedules, grades, attendance, historical educational documents (report cards, testing, transcripts, etc.), lunch codes and Parent Schoology access codes. A link is on all school web pages. For access, students use their regular network log-in, and parents who do not have their access code can submit a request to SCSD Family Tech Support.
SCHOOLOGY
Schoology is a site that facilitates communication between teachers, students and parents. Students can access daily assignments, group class work, homework, testing calendars and more. Parent access codes are available in the Family Portal Campus Backpack. Students use their regular network login. For login assistance, submit a request to SCSD Family Tech Support.
PARENTSQUARE
ParentSquare is an app through which the school and district will send a majority of important updates, information and school-related communications.
LUNCH
Both hot and cold lunches are available, payable through My School Bucks. Students may also preorder food through the Nutrislice website or the Nutrislice App.
FAMILY ID (Athletics)
Family ID is an online sports registration site. Parents can register students to play, and upload required medical forms.
LOCKERS
Locker assignments are sent directly to students via school email accounts. Students unable to access their assignments or with any lockers concerns, see Mrs. McGrath in the main office
REPORTING ABSENCES
Parents can report student absences in advance or address past absences through the SHS Attendance page.
LATE BUSES
Late buses leave SHS at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Buses transport students to SMS, and then home. Note that regular bus pickup times and locations are found in the Parent Portal under the “More” link, and in ParentSquare.
PNW BOCES TECH CENTER BUSES
The bus leaves SHS for AM Tech at 7:35 and returns at 10:15am. The PM Tech bus leaves SHS at 11:35am and returns at 2pm.
